Requirements

Two application forms completely filled in (Click here)
Two recent colour passport size photos.
Original passport is valid for more than 6 months upon arrival date. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Flight details, itinerary and return air ticket.
Proof of residence, most recent – 3 months (ie water & electricity account)
Copy of permanent residence or residence permits (valid 1 year) (For non-South Africa/Lesotho/Swaziland/Botswana)
Proof of accommodation in Indonesia (ie hotel bookings)
Letter from the bank / last 3 months bank statement (minimum balance R10 000)
Letter of employment from the country of origin.

Invitation letter and a copy of ID from the counterpart in Indonesia (For Business & Social only)
Letter of authorization from Directorate General of Immigration in Indonesia (For Limited Stay Visa / Work permit, multiple entry visa and anyone who wants to stay in Indonesia for more than 60 days) plus the 11 passport holders from 11 countries that require Approval of Visa.

Important Note

Visas are required by South African passport holders.
Visa applications will be rejected if application forms are not fully completed & signed & are not accompanied by the required documents.
There is no guarantee that a visa will be issued.
For organized groups, arrangements should be made well in advance with the relevant issuing authority.
Payments must be made paid in advance via Embassy account.
Visas are required by SA, UK, Australian, USA, French, and various passport holders.

For some countries, special authorization is required to issue visas. These applications will take longer to issue.
