Requirements                      

General Requirements

• A completed & signed visa application form in duplicate and signed. (Click here)
• Valid passport (no less than 6 months validity) Ensure there are 2 blank pages.
  • COPY of the passport is also required.
• 2 passport size photos
• Flight itinerary (detailed) (A physical ticket is not required)
• 3 Months bank statement
• Confirmation of Hotel booking.
• Vehicle registration papers if entering Sudan by road.
• Copy of Yellow Fever Vaccination card. NB ORIGINAL TO BE SHOWN ON ARRIVAL IN SUDAN.
• Letter of employment
• Country of destination after Sudan should be indicated on the application form together with the date of arrival and departure from Sudan.

Additional Requirements for Tourist Visa

• Letter of invitation: Tourist – a letter in which reasons for visiting are stated including dates of departure and return.
• Vehicle registration papers if driving instead of flying

Additional Requirements for Business Visa

• Letter from the local company explaining the mission and an invitation from the company in Sudan should accompany the application.

Important Note

• Please note that the visa is valid for 30 days from the date of issue.
  The embassy is not issuing Visas on temporary passports or emergency travel documents.
• Road Travelers: process takes longer, can be up to a month as approval comes from HQ in Khartoum.
• British passport holders:  approval comes from HQ in Khartoum.
• Visas are required by all passport holders including South African and British
