Requirements
Tourist Visa less than 3 months
- Tourist Application form 1419 (Download form)
- Duly completed and sign the application form
- Complete this form if not sponsored by a family member in Australia
- Sponsored Family form 1418 (Download form)
- Complete this form if sponsored by a family member in Australia
- Passport
- Ensure that you have a valid passport with at least two blank pages (preferably opposite each other) and that has been valid for more than 6 months and will be valid for more than 6 months from the date of return.
- Photos
- Two recent passport photographs colour
- Flight itinerary
- Proof of provisional flight reservation. NOT PAID TICKETS.
- Do not pay for flights until the visa is issued.
- Evidence of Intention to Return
- If you are married or have children. Please provide a copy of your marriage certificate or birth certificates of your family members that will be staying behind when you travel
- Police Clearance
- If you have been convicted of any offenses a police certificate from the police authorities is required
- Employment letter
- Confirmation from your employer of your employment status, income and period of employment and approved leave
- Invitation letter
- Detailed invitation letter from the company/host. If private/tourist visit: Inviter should also provide their Australia ID in the form of Drivers license or Australia ID or Passport+Visa (if not Australian) and their proof of address in the form of Utility Bill or any statement that reflects their name and address
- Evidence of Assets
- If you have assets such as Property or Investments, please provide mortgages, title deeds or any other documentary evidence
- Sufficient funds
Most recent statements for the last three months to proof adequate funds. Stamped by the Bank.
- Minor Children Download Form
- Children younger than 18 years not traveling with both parents should submit a certified written consent from the parents, a copy of their ID and an unabridged birth certificate of the child
- National ID copy
- Copy of your National ID card or book
- Travel history
- Please copy and print the previous or current visa stickers of the different countries that you have visited and a few of the airport entry and exit stamps in your previous or current passport. *this is to support your travel history
- Medical test and Chest x-ray
- Elderly travelers above 75years and if you are traveling for more than 3 months you may be required to submit a medical exam and chest x-ray report. The medical examination can take some time to be finalized. The Embassy has specific medical centers that they work with so please ask our consultant for the list of accredited doctors beforehand. You will also need a special reference number from the embassy to conduct these tests.

Important Note
- Visas are required by South African Passport holders.
- The applicant will need to meet Flash Visa Services at the Visa center on appointment to do biometrics.
- Visa applications will be rejected if application forms are not fully completed &
signed & are not accompanied by the required documents. - There is no guarantee that a visa will be issued.
- For organized groups, arrangements should be made well in advance with relevant
issuing authority. - If you have been charged with or convicted of any offenses in any country, a
police certificate from the police authorities in the relevant country. - If you have served in the armed forces (army, navy, air-force, reserves) in any
capacity in the last 10 years, a discharge certificate indicating the period you
served and the date of discharge. - If you intend staying in Australia for longer than 3 months or visiting a hospital
for any period, a chest examination from an Australian approved panel radiologist
(see list at http://www.immi.gov.au/contacts/panel-doctors/index.htm - The fees are non-refundable once paid.
- The Australian High commission advice all applicants not to book there tickets
until they have received their visas.
