General Requirements

  • The application form needs to be signed.
  • An incomplete application form will be rejected.
  • Application form for minors must be signed by both parents.
• Photo’s
  • Two Clear colour photo’s
  • Please do not staple the photo’s
• Passport
  • Original Passport needs to be valid for more than 6 months after return to South Africa.
• Ticket
  • Proof of an onward/return ticket
• Hotel booking confirmation
• Letter of employment
  • Stating when applicant started and salary.
  • Stating leave days.
  • Stating the reason for travel.
• Copy of police clearance certificate if visit is more than 30 days
• Medical report if visit is more than 30 days

Additional Requirements for Business Visa

• Invitation letter from a company in Jordan that the applicant intends to visit

Important Note

• Visa applications will be rejected if application forms are not fully completed & signed & are not accompanied by the required documents.
• There is no guarantee that a visa will be issued.
• For organized groups, arrangements should be made well in advance with the relevant issuing authority.
• All South African citizens with permanent SA passport can get their visa on arrival at the airport.
• Temporary passport holders to apply for the visa at the Embassy.
