Tourist Visa

• Valid Passport, at least 6 months validity from date of return.
• Application form, completed. (Click here)
• Two colour passport size photos.
• Itinerary and copy of air ticket.
• Employment letter from the company in South Africa.
• Financial
  • an Original bank letter.
  • Most recent credit card statement.
  • foreign exchange receipt.
• Proof of travel insurance that covers hospitalization as well as possible emergency evacuation.
• Yellow fever vaccination required if coming from an infected area

Business Visa

• Valid Passport, at least 6 months validity from date of return.

• Itinerary and copy of air ticket.
• Employment letter from the company in South Africa.
  • Please note that the employment letter must state the
  • duration and purpose of visit.
• Letter of invitation from the company in Eritrea.
  • Please note that the invitation must have a company stamp on it.
  • The letter must be faxed from Eritrea.
• Proof of travel insurance that covers hospitalization as well as possible emergency evacuation.
• Yellow fever vaccination required if coming from an infected area

Important Note

• Multiple entry visas cannot be guaranteed.
• Visas are required by South African Passport holders.
