Tourist Visa

• Valid Passport, at least 6 months validity from date of return.

• Colour passport size photo.
• Ticket
• Hotel booking confirmation

Business Visa

• Valid Passport, at least 6 months validity from date of return.
• Application form, completed. (Click here)
• Colour passport size photo.
• Itinerary OR copy of air ticket.
• Employment letter from the company in South Africa.
  • Please note that the employment letter must state the duration
  • and purpose of visit.
• Letter of invitation from the company in Ethiopia.
  • The invitation must state the purpose and duration of the visit.
• Approval letter from the Immigration office in Ethiopia
• TIN Certificate (Tax Payer Identification Number Certificate of Company in Ethiopia)
• Business Licence (Business licence of the inviting company)

Important Note

• When submitting Ethiopian Visas: The Host Company in Ethiopia is to go to the Immigration office in Ethiopia, give them the details of the said person from the said Company to visit them and them willing turn contact the Ethiopian Embassy in Pretoria to grant permission for the visa to be issued. Approval letter must also be sent to the applicant which needs to be submitted with the application
• Visas are required by South African, British and all other passport holders
