Requirements

1 fully completed application form (Click here)
2 Passport size photos (colour/recent)
Proof of flight and accommodation
Valid South African original passport
- Valid minimum 6 months after expiry)
- There must a minimum of two blank pages in the passport.
Evidence of legal residence in South Africa
Copy of yellow fever vaccination card (issued not longer than 10 days before entry)
Proof of sufficient funds (3 months bank statement)
3 Months payslip if employed
Letter of employment from the employer on a Letterhead
- From the employer introducing the applicant and confirming his/her position in the company.
- Also, the purpose of the visit.
- This letter is to indicate the applicant’s guarantor with their contact details in Gambia.

LETTER OF INVITATION FROM SPONSOR:
- This letter must explain the relationship to the applicant and the purpose of travel to The Gambia.
- In addition, the letter must indicate the length of stay, place of stay, (including full residential address & telephone number), as well as any other contact information.
- A copy of the host’s Passport is to be included, and if not a Gambian citizen, residence permits.

An original copy of the unabridged birth certificate
Coloured copies of both parent’s driver’s licenses/ID
A signed letter of consent by the parents/guardians authorizing the minor to travel to The Gambia. (Click here)
