General Requirements

• Invite Letter (from Kuwait Organization with the Contact person name and contact number)
• 2 colour photos (recent)

• Original passport

Additional Requirements for Tourist Visa

• Tourist visa: Visas are required to have an invitation from within Kuwait by a friend/family member, travel company or through various hotels in Kuwait. The passenger is to provide the required documents as requested by hotel management.

Additional Requirements for Business Visa

• Business visa: The Host company is to have a copy of the visitor’s passport. they should then send their representative to the Kuwait emigration department to request a visa. Once obtained (this is an electronic version), the visa can then be sent by the host to the client (either by email or a couriered hard copy) and the passenger can then travel with this copy.

Important Note

• Visas are required by South African Passport holders
• Visa applications will be rejected if application forms are not fully completed & signed & are not accompanied by the required documents.
• There is no guarantee that a visa will be issued.
• For organized groups, arrangements should be made well in advance with the relevant issuing authority.

5 working days to process the visa, depending on the approval from the Immigration Department of Kuwait
