General Requirements

  • The application form needs to be signed.
  • An incomplete application form will be rejected.
  • Application form for minors must be signed by both parents.
• Photos
  • 2 passport size photo in colour.
• Passport
  • Passport needs to be valid for more than 6 months after return to South Africa.
• Ticket
  • Proof of an onward/return ticket
• Letter of employment
• Proof of accommodation

Additional Requirements for Business Visa

• Letter of invitation If Business
  • Letter from the company being visited stating reason and duration of the visit.

Important Note

• South African passport holders traveling to Chile for tourism, business or to attend conferences do not require a visa for a stay up to 3 months. South African temporary passport/ official & diplomatic passports are accepted.
• Visa applications will be rejected if application forms are not fully completed & signed & are not accompanied by the required documents.
• There is no guarantee that a visa will be issued.
• For organized groups, arrangements should be made well in advance with the relevant issuing authority.
